For climbers from Marseille, this area is very handy in the summer when the Calanques are starting to become inaccessible to public. At 1h15 drive and with a very short approach march, the sector offers many routes with departures under the trees and the river nearby.
However the site, also named Roches de Bagarèdes, is not for beginners because most of the routes are concentrated in the 6th and 7th grade, when it is not the 8th. There are no fewer than 63 lanes in level 7 and 13 lengths in the 8. Moreover, even the easiest routes are generally quite involved.
The best is nevertheless to go there and make his idea on the spot. You'll find in the shops of the villages the Topo-Guide of the "Vallon Sourn" directed by Philippe Bugada and Patrick Taton.
